On one of its sites, a French industrial company specialising in the development, manufacture and marketing of cosmetic ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients encountered a COD load problem at the inlet and outlet of the water treatment plant.

The objective of this installation is to control the COD level at the output of the processing unit but also to optimize the COD treatment process.

For the time being, the client chose to rent a STACSENSE UV254 probe with a 2mm optical path to monitor its measurement point at the station outlet. The probe is combined with an ACTEON 5000 transmitter/recorder to evaluate the results.
